240 tiles. 5 colors. Over 2 billion gameboards! Columns Junior on the iPhone. Fun.

Columns Junior is the free version of Columns. Columns Junior is fully functional as far as game play. There is only one difference in the free Columns Junior and the 99-cent Columns:

In Columns Junior, you can not post your game scores to the Columns scoreboards.

For full access to the Columns scoreboards, please consider upgrading to the 99-cent Columns app.

Columns Junior is a fast, fun game that tests your speed and strategy. Your goal is to remove as many of the colored tiles as possible, as quickly as possible, by tapping on blocks of two or more adjacent identically-colored tiles. Two red tiles side-by-side? Double-tap either tile in that block to remove them both. Four green tiles one-above-the-other? Double-tap any of them to remove the entire block. Snake-like pattern of 42 blue tiles? Double-tap to remove them (for a whopping 4,960 points in that one move!).

Sounds easy, doesnt it? Watch out! Each time you remove a block of tiles, the remaining tiles cascade downward, filling the gaps. The result -- a re-arranged gameboard! The strategy -- build large blocks -- you get more and more bonus points the larger the block is. 40 points for the first tile in the block, 40 points for the second, 44 for the third, 48 for the fourth, 52 for the fifth, 56, 60, 64, and on and on.

Have a competitive fire burning inside you? Columns has six worldwide scoreboards, three daily and three alltime. The scoreboards show the highest scores ever recorded in the world, the fewest tiles left, and the largest blocks ever removed. All over the world! What could be more prestigious than to sit atop an alltime worldwide Columns scoreboard -- the best in the world!
